Good to know
- In Cameroon, registering a sole proprietorship or a company goes through the Business Creation Formalities Centre (CFCE). The file can be submitted online on MyBusiness.cm, the electronic business registration window; documents are then collected at the CFCE.
- Foreign nationals provide a copy of their residence permit or passport; nationals provide a copy of their ID card or birth certificate.
- Yaoundé CFCE: next to the Maison de la radio, Nlongkak; tel. +237 22 20 45 87; Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 15:30. These details date from the page's last update (11 August 2020): check them before going.
- eRegulations flags the in-person CFCE procedure as "under revision". The amounts and timeframes below are those shown by the source: confirm them with the CFCE.
You trade in your own name. This is the shortest procedure.
