Entry and residence

Visa, passport, vaccination required at the border, customs and consular assistance. Rules depend on your nationality: each point says who it applies to.

  • Passport: France

    French nationals get a free visa on arrival for visits under 90 days. Immigration often grants only 30 days: check the stamp and request the (free) extension before it expires. The KAZA visa (Zambia, Zimbabwe, day trips to Botswana) is sold at Lusaka, Livingstone and the main borders.

    No visa is required. The joint Zambia-Zimbabwe tourist visa (KAZA Univisa, 30 days, USD 50) is available at Lusaka and Livingstone airports and some land borders.
