Driving locally
National roads are fairly good (including Mbabane–Manzini), secondary roads are often dirt tracks; livestock, drink-driving, no lighting and frequent fog. Drive by day, with comprehensive insurance and the vehicle's original papers. Most border posts open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
