Visa, passport, vaccination required at the border, customs and consular assistance. Rules depend on your nationality: each point says who it applies to.
Visa
A visa is compulsory; it is not issued on arrival without a prior application. Apply at an Equatorial Guinea embassy or online (e-visa, processed in 72 hours); with the e-visa, print the letter and present it at the border, where the visa is issued.

For a short stay (up to 90 days), France lists: form, passport valid 6 months at the date of application, two photos, criminal record extract, invitation letter ("Carta de Llamada") stamped by the Ministry of National Security, mission order for professionals, vaccination record, return ticket and accommodation.

Vaccination required at entry
The vaccination record is checked at entry. France says yellow fever vaccination is compulsory for travellers from endemic areas and strongly recommended for everyone; the UK lists it as required.
